You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.

You have a friend who lives in a city abroad. You have decided that you would like to apply to do a course at one of the colleges in the same city.

Write to your friend explaining what you would like to do. Tell him/her what type of work or studies you have been doing for the past few years and ask for assistance in contacting an appropriate institution.

Write at least 150 words.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Rahul,

I regret that I’ve not written to you for more than a year. I’ve been terribly busy over the last two years and I hardly had any time for myself.

You would be happy to hear that I’ve decided to complete my BSc in Computer Science from a reputed college/university in the UK and I hope you can give me some advice regarding this. I think I’d prefer a university in London because I’ve always dreamt to be there, and institutions in London has an excellent study environment and faculty members.

I’ve recently completed my “A level” exam and I have got “A” in five subjects including science, English, and maths. I’m wondering if you could help me select a suitable institution in London! I really don’t know which university or college to apply to, so I’m hoping you would send me some information about different colleges and universities. Also, do I have to take an English test? If so which one and what score do I need?
