Model Answer 1: (Neutral Opinion)
Many celebrities who are in movies, music and sports are highly paid but those who are yet to come into the limelight struggle to make a living from their career. Incredibly high payment to successful celebrities is quite justified to many, but irrational according to others. There is no denying that actors like Brad Pitt, footballers like Cristiano Ronaldo and musicians like Bryan Adams earn an exorbitant amount for their roles and I feel that doctors, journalists, professors, researchers and policemen should be highly paid as well.

Famous celebrities are profoundly compensated for their performance and this is often manifold higher than the income of other professionals. However, this is not true for all who are in the entertainment or sports industry. Actors, sports professionals, musicians, writers and similar artists have to struggle a lot to get their desired success and not all can reach that point. For instance, when we find it quite alluring to sum up the yearly earning of Lionel Messi, the football sensation from Argentina, we forget to think about thousands of others who never made it to the national team. They are not even paid moderately by the Sports Federation. Thus only successful stars earn extravagant sums.

Doctors and journalists, in my opinion, deserve a high salary for their invaluable contribution to society. While doctors cure our diseases, journalists work as our guide to a better society. Besides these two professionals, educators, researchers, and policemen should be offered better remuneration. Professors and researchers help create an enlightened generation and we can sleep in peace as we know that someone is guarding us. Thus these people should be rewarded for the jobs they do for us.

To conclude, famous entertainers are highly paid but not all can become famous to earn that amount of money. Some other professionals who constantly work for the betterment of all should also be paid adequately.

Model Answer 2: (Agreement)
The entertainment world is a glamorous arena and successful performers make a substantial amount. While average people struggle to make a decent living, movie stars, sports personnel, singers and moviemakers have a pile of money. To many, entertainers receive an exorbitant amount and they suggest that people who contribute to making the world a better place, like teachers, police, social workers, scientists, artists and so on should be rewarded with better remuneration.

To begin with, the money a popular sportsman makes from a single sporting event is higher than the average salary a teacher earns in several years. One of the reasons for this discrimination is the artificial fence that surrounds the entertainment world. For instance, Leonardo DiCaprio, a renowned actor, earned over $50 million for the movie Inception and the money is still pouring in. Hundreds of border security guards in combination would never be paid this much money in their entire life.

Since people love to spend their budget on entertainment and advertisers offer an exorbitant amount to hire a star, money is never a problem for professionals in the entertainment world. However, when a talented screenwriter, a rural sports coach or a writer whose book is adapted to make a movie is poorly paid, the discrimination becomes obvious. I believe that teachers, researchers, talented artists, writers, journalists, police and doctors should be highly paid as well. Their contribution is silently shaping the world we live in for good and we should not let them starve.

To conclude, undeniably entertainers are paid an excessive amount of money and there should be a justification for their remuneration, especially in this year of recession and depression. People who work directly to make our society a better place should be highly paid as well.

Model Answer 3: (Disagreement)
In contemporary society, entertainers such as film stars, pop musicians, and sports stars are often regarded as some of the highest-paid professionals. While some people believe that these individuals earn too much money, I tend to disagree. This essay will discuss why I disagree that they are paid an exorbitant amount of money, and also provide examples of other professions that should also be highly paid.

Many believe that entertainers are overpaid and their salaries are often inflated due to their celebrity status rather than their actual talent or contributions to society. However, sports, music, films and other related sectors are just as important as other important sectors in our society. Celebrities like Christiano Ronaldo and Leonel Messi have inspired millions of youths to take up sports and this is a great contribution from their side. This is why when a superstar like Christiano Ronaldo is paid highly, we should consider his dedication, hard work and contribution rather than just the amount he is paid.

Moreover, successful entertainers deserve high salaries. These individuals often work incredibly hard to achieve success, and their talent and popularity can generate significant revenue for the entertainment industry. Reaching the fame level to achieve a high remuneration for those stars is extremely difficult. There are thousands of professional footballers who earn a meagre amount as they have not gained worldwide fame and success.

While entertainers are often the highest-paid professionals, in my opinion, there are other jobs that should also be highly paid. For example, jobs in the healthcare sector, such as nurses and doctors, should be paid more due to the crucial and often life-saving work they do. Additionally, jobs in science and research, which can contribute significantly to the advancement of society, should also be highly paid.

In conclusion, while some people may argue that entertainers are overpaid, I believe that they deserve their high salaries. However, it is important to also recognize the value and importance of other professions, such as healthcare workers and scientists, and to provide them with the appropriate compensation for their contributions to society.
