Model Answer:

Thank you for this interesting cue card topic, and I would be more than happy to share my experience about a day when I thought that the weather was “perfect”. It was a day when I visited Spain during the summertime about a few years ago.

After visiting Spain about a few years ago for the first time, I certainly could see why millions of visitors flock into this Mediterranean country. In fact, there are countless reasons, from diverse culture to breath-taking architecture to beautiful weather, that make Spain as their most favourite tourist spot to visit for millions.

Anyway, after arriving in Madrid, the capital city of Spain, in the evening and resting for the entire night, I decided to take a stroll around the city of Madrid the next morning. Surprisingly, the streets of Madrid were a bit quiet for the time of the year. And, talking about the weather, it was just too perfect for me, with about 24 to 26 degree Celsius temperature and a gentle breeze to make me feel fresh and energized after a long journey. Besides, with plentiful sunlight and a perfectly clear sky, I felt like I could walk around the entire city of Madrid without ever getting tired. But, then, of course, after walking for a while, I felt hungry, so I went to a nice café and got a nice and healthy breakfast.

After finishing my breakfast, I visited the royal palace of Madrid, the main square (the spot which holds centuries of history in its cobbles and has been the scene of everything from coronations to bullfights and beheading), and a few other popular tourist spots of the city and also admiring the excellent weather all day long.

Anyway, the weather in Madrid on that day was perfect, mainly because it brought so much positive energy inside me which, I felt, I was lacking for a long period of time. Besides, I also felt that the city’s stunning architecture came to look even more stunning and live because of the perfect sunlight.
