Model Answer:

I have always enjoyed living in a big city for some obvious reasons, especially, when I was growing up as a child and attending high school. But, on the other hand, my parents were quite opposite as they preferred living in the countryside – a countryside of which, I became very much fond later on, and it still remains as one of my most favourite places to spend my time.

Of course, I never could have guessed the reasons for which my parents took the decision to move to that countryside, about 80 kilometres away from one of the major cities of my country, except, of course, I could feel that it was becoming more and more costly to live in a big city. Besides, there perhaps could be another reason and that was to explore the possibility of buying some land properties there (obviously because the land was much cheaper there) and settle down there eventually.

But, whatever was the reason, I sure am glad that they actually decided to live there for a while before moving close to my grandparents’ (my maternal grandparents) house permanently. After all, I have some great memories of this place. In fact, it is in this place where I didn’t only learn how to swim for the first time, but also how to catch fish with fishing rods! Besides, it is in this place where I was picked up to play for a football team for the first time on behalf of my school!

Anyway, like these, I have many more fond memories of this place. But, what makes this place even more special to me is that it was full of life, happiness and positivity even though, people were not even remotely as affluent as the people in a city. Besides, this place is very special in my heart also because people there taught me the virtue of how to live a very simple but yet graceful life.
