Describe an item that you bought from an online store.
You should say:
- what item it was
- when you bought it
- why you bought it
and explain whether you were satisfied with the product or not.

Model Answer:
I don’t think that I feel that comfortable buying things online because of a few obvious reasons. But, a year ago, I was convinced by the manager of a home appliance store, located in my town, to buy a vacuum cleaner, and today here I am going to explain shortly whether or not I was satisfied with that product.
I ran to that home appliance store in my town in order to buy a vacuum cleaner, not because we didn’t have a cleaning machine at our house. In fact, we already had a nice and working vacuum cleaner at that time, but my mother and sister-in-law thought that they needed another one, apparently because they liked their old (“old” as in existing) vacuum cleaner too much, and they just didn’t want to damage it by using it too much. After all, it was one of those very strongly-built and nice-looking vacuum cleaners that couldn’t be found any longer in the market. So, their only solution was to buy another one so that they could use both vacuum cleaners alternatively to reduce the pressure on their preferred cleaning machine.
So, I headed to a home appliance store in my town and selected a vacuum cleaner for purchase. But, just when I was ready to take that to the cashier at the register, the store manager walked towards me and told me that if I would buy that product from their online store, I would get a 30 per cent discount. Besides, I would also get a full warranty of 5 years on that product. It was too good of a deal. So I just went online and visited their shop and ordered the product while I was in their store!
Needless to say, I was reasonably satisfied with my new vacuum cleaner, mainly because it didn’t make as much sound as some other vacuum cleaners. Besides, the ladies of my house liked its colour too! Of course, it was certainly not as good as our old vacuum cleaner, but it certainly was worth the price I paid for! And finally, the long-time warranty on the product was very lucrative too!
