Describe an area of art and craft that you would like to explore.
You should say:
- what it is
- how you have learned about it
- how difficult or easy it would be
and explain why you want to explore this area of art and craft.

Model Answer:
When I was growing up as a child, I just loved to play with my drawing kit, given to me by my grandmother as a gift. I even drew some fine pictures that received great praise from my family and friends later on, stepping into a high school. But then, I got sidetracked by other academic priorities and started ignoring that creative aspect of my talent completely. So, if there were any art arts and crafts that I would like to explore, it has to be drawing and painting.
As I have already mentioned, I learned about it at my home from early childhood, even before I attended school, so I must have learned it from my parents and other family members, initially. Later on, in my elementary school, there were drawing competitions among the children to see how creative we really were. As an adult also, I saw some fine paintings works by some world-famous artists who simply changed the landscape of painting and drawing with their magical strokes of hands. So, it wouldn’t really be an exaggeration to suggest that I have all along carried in me a certain type of passion for painting and drawing even though I never really cared to pursue it. Now, if I want to pursue that passion of mine now, as an adult, will it be easy?
Well, the answer perhaps is “no”. And it is going to be difficult, not because I have lost touch with my creativity, but because I won’t be able to fully focus on it now due to some other priorities in life. After all, in order to be creative, one needs to be able to fully focus on his art and craft skills, and I am willing to summon that kind of focus once again in exploring this particular art.
Anyway, I want to explore it now, mainly because it would provide me with a sense of accomplishment, as far as being creative is concerned. I want to pursue it also because it would help me get rid of stress and the monotony of daily life.
