Model Answer:

I have always considered my teachers to be among some of the most admirable persons. They have taught me a lot of things and helped me become the person I am today. Today, I would like to talk about one such teacher from the past who I don’t just admire but also remember dearly.

The name of this teacher was Mr Ronald Fisher, and he used to teach us Geography at high school when I was only about 13 or 14 years old.

Now, talking about Geography subject, I must say that I wasn’t really very much fond of the subject. Remembering the names of all the capital cities of the world, memorizing the river systems, and spelling out the difficult names of so many mountain ranges of the world was not something I ever really enjoyed studying, to be honest. But, then came Mr Ronald, one of my most favourite teachers of all time, who certainly knew geography subject from inside out. In fact, he was so knowledgeable about the world of Geography, and he described it in such logical manners that it was almost impossible for even average students not find them interesting. One of his special qualities and characteristics of this great Geography teacher was that he knew a lot of interesting but relevant stories which he used to share with his students whenever he would see that his students were becoming little restless in the class. Besides, he would very seldom give us any homework as his special style was to make his students work in his class only. His philosophy was to study hard only in the class and have a lot of fun outside of the class.

Anyway, I remember this teacher, mainly because of his unique style of teaching where each and every student of his class would complete the lessons before leaving the classroom. I remember this great teacher also because he knew how to get even his worst students motivated to do better.
