Describe an activity or something you do to remain healthy.

You should say:

  • what you do
  • when you do it
  • how often you do it

and explain how it helps you to remain healthy.

Model Answer:

We all try to choose different activities in order to remain healthy, depending on our timings, scopes and lifestyle choice. As far as I am concerned, I always prefer “walking” as my favourite activity, and I will tell you why I like it, and how it helps me to remain healthy, shortly.

However, before starting to like “walking” as my favourite activity, I was more of a “gym” person. In other words, I used to go to the gym every once in a while to sweat before deciding to stop going there because the gym is a bit too far from where I live. I decided to give up on the idea of doing “gym” also because I thought that the place was a bit too crowded for my liking. So, I thought that it was time for me to find a different type of activity, and I thought that “walking” was the best option for me.

Now, I walk pretty much every day on a regular basis except when I am out of my town due to professional reasons (I have to leave my town once in a while to meet some of my high end, real estate clients because I work as a real estate manager). But, even then, I try my best to do some “walking” exercise if I am done with my appointments and manage to squeeze some time.

By the way, I try to enjoy this activity mostly during the evening hours on the weekdays, but I try to do it in the morning during the weekends because, in the afternoon, I try to visit my elderly grandparents.

But, no matter when I perform this particular activity, it helps me remain healthy by maintaining proper body weight. Of course, it is not that I am overweight or something, rather I do it to look slim and stay fit. This activity helps me, also because it allows me to breathe some fresh air outdoors while also enjoying the cool and calm weather of a lovely evening.
