Model Answer:

I never really knew that a “stranger” could surprise any of us with some of their best human behaviours until I met a “Samaritan” bus driver. Today, I would like to talk about one such kind thing, perhaps one of the kindest ever, which a stranger could ever do for me.

About 5 years ago, I was a visiting one of the most beautiful and picturesque cities of my country which was about 200 miles away from my hometown. However, it was also a city of many buses, at the same time, in order to help “tourists” move around from one place to another at ease. Anyway, after touring the city by buses for 4 days, suddenly, one day, I received an emergency call from home which informed me that my old grandfather was seriously ill because of some age-related issues and that I needed to return home as soon as possible. I explained the situation to the driver and asked him to help me reach my hotel as soon as possible except the problem was he couldn’t help me because it might have cost him his job. On the other hands, it would take me quite a while to get a taxi because I was a bit too far away from the centre of the city.

Suddenly, I found that the driver was making an announcement in the bus, saying that he would need to return to the city immediately because of an emergency situation, and he did return to the city after driving for about 40 minutes, non-stop. After dropping me at the bus station, the driver told me with a smiling face that I should go and visit my grandfather immediately.

It was indeed one of the kindest and nicest things, a stranger ever did to me, because, after all, it was because of that “stranger” driver’s prompt action, I managed to see my grandfather for the last time. This “nice gesture” of that “strange” driver was even more special because of the fact that he actually risked significant “penalty” to help me.
