Model Answer:

In the past, I have been lucky enough to attend several sporting events and other fun activities which I greatly enjoyed. But, none of these events was as fun and exciting as that of a particular sporting event, which I attended during my high school years.

Anyway, it was about 10 years ago, when I was attending high school in my final year, and my high school team was playing the final in an inter-high school football tournament. This particular match had reflected an intense sense of “rivalry” between them from the past as both teams had played against each other a number of times in the past, and both teams were desperately trying to maintain their domination over each other as long as they could.

So, anyway, when the word was out that our team was playing against our “arch-rival” team, I and my high school friends became really “energized” in an anticipation of a very competitive and exciting match. Finally, the game day had arrived, and we all rented a private bus to carry us to a neutral venue, where the two rival teams would face each other. The game was on, and we started to cheer for our team as loudly as possible with every kick and attack. We even took our shirts/t-shirts off in excitement when our team scored a goal. It was a “high voltage” match, and both teams were playing their heart out to win. But, when the final whistle was blown, it was actually my team, which won, leaving us jumping in joy for the rest of the evening.

Anyway, it was the most fun sporting event, I have ever attended, because I, along with my school friends, could call myself the part of a “champion” team for the first time, and also, the last time. Besides, after that win, we all went to a restaurant and ate all kinds of food and snacks as much as we could, like never before without worrying about paying anything, because our school was paying for it!
