Model Answer:

Dear Mr Sullivan,

I am writing this letter in response to an advertisement published in the recent edition of the ‘Teaching Professional’ magazine, posted by you about a week ago. I would like to apply for the position of “Spanish Language Instructor” at The Language Institute of Great Britain in London. I am fully aware of the responsibilities of this great position, and I also know how reputed of an international language institute it really is.

I would like to apply for this position as I consider myself to be a very suitable candidate for this position, primarily because I have a diploma in the Spanish language in addition to having a Bachelor degree in Education major. Besides, I have also lived in Mexico for more than 8 years, where Spanish is the primary language, and I did communicate with the Mexican people fluently in their native language.

So, please contact me through my email or phone, provided on my resume, should you wish to discuss with me further about my qualification and experience in relation to the needs of this position.

I look forward to meeting you in a formal interview to further discuss my candidacy for the post.

Yours faithfully,

Fiona Stark
