You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
One of your pen pals will shortly be visiting your city. For some reason, you cannot manage to meet him/her at the airport on time.
Write a letter asking him/her to wait for you at the airport and tell him/her how to identify you.
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:

Dear James,
I hope that you are doing well. So, aren’t you excited about the fact that we finally will be able to meet each other in person after becoming pen pals a long time ago? As for me, you will be glad to know that I immediately made some plans to see you at the airport as soon as I learned about your visit, only to find out a little later that I won’t be able to meet you on time because of another equally important matter.
But, don’t become upset because I won’t be able to see you on time at the airport. In fact, I will arrive there soon after! So, all you would need to do is to wait for another 30 minutes or so, after our pre-scheduled meeting time, so that I am able to pick up my little cousin from his school.
By the way, I will be wearing a navy blue T-shirt and a pair of black jeans, in case you have trouble identifying me. Besides, I will also be holding a placard, with your name on it, to help you find me at the arrival gate of your terminal.

If you reach the Amsterdam Schiphol airport in due time, and the checkout happens promptly, I hope you can wait for me at the airport.
