You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
You live in a small town and last week, you drove to a big city about two hours away to buy a new laptop at a good price. You worked on the laptop all week and finished writing a long assignment that is due shortly. However, this week, the laptop doesn’t even switch on.
Write a letter to the store manager.
In your letter:
- tell the store manager where you live and what happened
- explain the problem with the laptop
- state what action you would like the manager to take
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear Sir or Madam,
Dear Sir or Madam,
I am a loyal customer to your brand and my resident is in Panam Valley, Halssmith. I have recently purchased a laptop from one of your stores. But the experience is not as pleasant as it should have been. Even I, myself, would be glad if I didn’t have to write this complaint letter. But, here I am and complaining a bunch about a laptop which I just bought last week from your store.
Of course, if it is any consolation for you, I actually managed to work the whole last week on this laptop, but this week, for some mysterious reasons, the laptop is acting up. However, the most frustrating part is that it doesn’t even switch on sometimes. By the way, I live in a small town called Panam Valley, and I drove about two hours to get to your store. Besides, I also paid a good price to purchase this laptop, and therefore, the last thing, which I ever expected from this laptop, was to act like this.
Anyway, I won’t complain anymore. I just want you to schedule a time for me so that I could either visit your store to pick up a brand new laptop of my choice from your store as a replacement, or you will make a full refund to me.
