Some people are happy to spend their whole life living in the same place or area. However, others prefer to live in many different areas over their lifetime.
Discuss both views and give your opinion.

Model Answer:
Since time immemorial, human beings are moving from one place to another. However, many people prefer to live in the same area their entire life, and others choose to live in various parts of the globe during their lifespan. This essay will expound both views. In my opinion, however, the benefits people reap from moving from one place to another outweigh its drawbacks.
Some people live their whole life staying at the same place due to fear of unknown. To illustrate, everyone feels fear of something. For many people, it is a fear of unknown. The fear that everything will change radically, once they have moved to a new place to live, and thereby they will be unable to retain present condition if something goes wrong. In fact, they do not want to challenge the status quo by embracing new challenges in life due to fear of unknown. Besides, culture and family-oriented attitude also dissuade people from living in different places. In India, for example, it is commonplace that people spend their whole life in their ancestral homes.
On the other hand, there are many reasons why people decide to live in different places. First of all, many people want to broaden their horizons migrating from one place to another. To give an illustration of what I mean is that a new circumstance that an individual faces can be a golden opportunity to learn a new language and communication skills. Apart from that, being immersed in a new atmosphere allows a person to see the world from a different angle through a new lens, and thereby enriching world view. Besides, people want to move to another place to step out of their comfort zone, or just they want to get out of the rut of everyday lifestyle in the same area with the same circle of people.
To wrap up, people who fear of unknown live in the same region throughout their lives. Conversely, many other people are courageous enough to face the challenges a new place offers live different places during their lifetime which brings a far more opportunity to enjoy life and learn about the world and different cultures.

Some of us prefer to live in the same place our whole life, which allows creating a strong bond in the community, feel less stress and face fewer challenges, while others prefer to migrate from one city to another or from one country to another in order to easily land the high-quality job and find suitable shelter despite having challenges to settle in new places and living in a new community. This essay will explore both perspectives.
Those who enjoy living in the same community in one hometown and country, simply do not wish to feel the constant stress while also enjoying the peaceful community and relationship. They can have regular conversations with their relatives, neighbours and friends. This might have a positive influence on their mental and physical health. Such a trend could be easily observed in all developing countries where citizens are happier and satisfied regardless of the harsh economic and political situation in their home country.
Nevertheless, relocating brings about many benefits and could be life-changing. Those who travel have the opportunity to see the world and meet new people who belong to different cultural and religious affiliations. This helps them change their work and living places and stimulate them to live and work in different places. A migrating attitude of certain individuals often relies on an individual’s inner desire to find a suitable job with excellent remuneration packages which allow them to do better in their professions.
In conclusion, the main reason for which some prefer to stick to the same place is the fear of the unknown and the desire to keep family and friends close. Migrating to different places often change their views and lifestyle and creates various financial opportunities. The letter, in my opinion, is more preferable as it opens a range of options and opportunities.
