Model Answer:

Dear Jacob,

Hope you’re doing great. I’m so happy to learn that you’ve finally moved to London and got enrolled in a Master’s degree course at one of the best Universities in the UK. I also have something to share with you.

I’ve recently taken a job offer from Nestlé and working there for the last couple of months. I was looking for a new job opportunity for the last couple of months, and this job seems more exciting and rewarding than the jobs I did in the past. As you know, I was a bit frustrated about my previous job as I couldn’t see any future there in terms of career growth and skill development. I was working hard, sometimes 12 to 13 hours a day, without any appraisal, appreciation and bonus. I thought it was time for me to look for a new opportunity and this new job offer came at a perfect time.

My new job responsibilities involve supervising a sales team, providing training and motivation to them, and reporting to upper management. I would also need to handle some corporate clients from time to time. So far, I am enjoying my job to a great extent.

I’ve started going to the gym as I can leave the office in time. Besides, I am planning to purchase a small apartment near my office area.

Take care and stay safe.

Warm wishes,

Fahim
