You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.
You and some friends ate a meal at a restaurant to celebrate a special occasion, and you were very pleased with the food and service.
Write a letter to the restaurant manager.
In your letter,
- give details of your visit to the restaurant
- explain the reason for the celebration
- say what was good about the food and the service
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Dear Sir or Madam,
A few days ago, I and my friends went to your restaurant to celebrate one of my friends 25th birthday, and I must admit that we were very satisfied with the food and service we were provided. I am writing to acknowledge what you did for us.
First of all, I must thank you for making the great arrangements for the birthday party on such short notice since almost 35 people attended it. In fact, I was initially suspicious about how your staff were going to arrange all the seats and tables in the tight space of your restaurant, but they proved me wrong by placing them perfectly. The ambient was great and we were surprised by the birthday music.
Besides, the quality of the food, especially the choice of the fresh fruit salad as a dessert, was excellent. We also enjoyed our main course very much. On top of that, all of your staff members were very friendly as they all treated us like some royalties. I also appreciate your effort to decorate the restaurant with some beautiful lighting scheme on that occasion.
All in all, you helped organize a great birthday party, and I hope you will continue doing so in future.
