- explain why this job is important to you
- suggest what information your teacher could put in the reference
Write at least 150 words.
You do NOT need to write any addresses.
Begin your letter as follows:
Dear Mr Rodriguez,
Hope you are doing excellent. To introduce myself a little, my name is Neil Traverse, and I was one of your favourite students when you were teaching Science and Mathematics at Cleveland county high school about 7 years ago.
The reason I am writing this letter is to ask for an important favour from you. In fact, I am applying for a job, and I would like to request you to write a letter of reference for me. This reference letter would go a long way in helping me secure my dream job since I have always wanted to work in the research field. And, the role, I am applying for, is of a Junior Research Officer at the Atomic Energy Commission of our country, and they want to know about my overall performance at the high school as a science student.
Therefore, please write a letter of reference for me to include my activities and performance, especially my assignment works at the science lab of my high school, as a science student so that it becomes easy for me to get the job.
Thank you in advance.
