You should spend about 20 minutes on this task.

You recently ordered something from an eCommerce shop. When it was delivered, you noticed that something was missing.

Write a letter to the company. In your letter,

  • give details of the order
  • mention what was missing from the delivery
  • explain what you want them to do about it

Write at least 150 words.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear Sir or Madam,

I understand that you will probably be a bit frustrated after reading this letter, but, trust me, so was I after buying a mobile phone from your eCommerce store about a couple of days ago. I am writing to complain about two missing items from my order.

To give you some details about the online phone purchase, I placed the order on 23rd June from your website and the phone model was Samsung M21. I paid with a Visa credit card, and the order number is PAR-JUN45023. The mobile phone, as your website showed, was supposed to be delivered with a beautiful looking mobile phone case for free.

But, unfortunately, when I received the packet in a courier mail, I noticed that the phone cover was missing. Moreover, it did not have any phone charger as well, which was very surprising and equally frustrating. I checked the box inside out again and again, but there was just no trace of any mobile phone case or charger. Later on, I even called the courier guy to know if there were any extra boxes in that order, but he replied that there was none.

Needless to say, I was not quite expecting such a blunder from your company. So, please, either send the phone case and the original charger in another courier mail or just cancel my order and refund my money at your earliest convenience.
