  • wish him/her a speedy recovery
  • give other news about the office

Write at least 150 words.

You do NOT need to write any addresses.

Begin your letter as follows:

Dear ……………,

Model Answer:

Dear Kevin,

I hope this letter finds you in good health and spirit, even though I am very much aware of your difficult health situation due to the terrible accident. I wish that you will recover and get back among us soon.

By the way, the news of your accident came to me as a shock since I have always known you to be a very careful person when riding your motorcycle. Then again, an accident is…well…just an accident, and it can take place anytime and anywhere, no matter how careful we are. I just wish that you recover swiftly and leave the hospital pretty soon.

We are missing you in the office. We are also taking care of the pending tasks, left by you, before your accident. So don’t worry about your tasks and regular responsibilities in the office. Also, we are watering your flower pot, which you have always liked doing. Anyway, the lunch menu for our office employees has been changed. In fact, you will be glad to know that some new items have been added to our daily lunch menu. The weekly meeting has been transferred to Wednesday and we will have transportation from the next June, which is a big relief for many of us.

I guess that’s all for now as I don’t want to burden you with too much information. But, please be rest assured that we are all praying for your speedy recovery and good health.

Yours sincerely,

Corry Andrea
